Englefield, Richard H. - born Springfield, Ohio 1937. Studied music very briefly; two piano lessons at age 7 and a Continuing Education piano class at Univ. of Buffalo (age 20). Visited chamber orchestras and sat in various sections to learn virtuosity of instruments. Dreamed of symphony composition following a sixth grade book report on the life of Tchaikovsky. Primarily worked in the paper industry in New York (10 years) then as surveyor and high rise construction engineer (15 years). Was a candidate for President of the United States in 1976 and the U. S. Senate in 1982.
